Last Map Update: Sun, Jun 8, 2025 at 10:08:10 am MST

Warm and mainly dry conditions are expected on Sunday, with only a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the higher terrain in the afternoon.
The sixth Full Moon of the year will occur on June 11th at 12:44 AM. This is known as the Strawberry Moon as wild strawberries are ripe and ready to be gathered. It’s also known as the Rose Moon as roses often bloom in June. The Strawberry Moon is the lowest Full Moon of the year due to the Moon being opposite the Sun which is at its highest point of the year. This will be the lowest Full Moon since 2006 due to a phenomenon known as Lunar Standstill that happens every 18.6 years. At its highest point the Moon will only be at a 26 degree angle.
