Showers along the eastern half of South Florida this morning will eventually give way to scattered showers and storms across inland and southwestern South Florida this afternoon. While the heaviest rainfall is focused over inland locales away from both metros, if heavy rain were to occur over an urban area, localized flooding could occur.
